Commander Noctis, Heir Apparent is the heart of an Esper Equipment/Voltron shell. The primary plan is to tutor for Colossus Hammer and an equip-cost enabler (Forge Anew, Puresteel Paladin, Sigarda's Aid, or Ardenn), then use Noctis's Warp-Strike before combat to make him enter unblockable and re-attach the Equipment with his combat trigger for two lethal commander-damage hits. Secondary paths include equipping Balan, Arna, or Adeline's tokens for a go-wide finish, and the Vorpal Sword combo: activate it, then hit with unblockable Noctis to make the opponent lose. Noctis, Prince of Lucis and Ardenn act as hidden secondary engines in the 99, providing artifact recursion and free mass re-attachment. Protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Flawless Maneuver set up the final swing.
