Deck overview

This deck pairs Vial Smasher the Fierce with Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to create an oppressive burn engine that punishes opponents every turn. By copying Vial Smasher without the restriction of the legend rule, every first spell cast each turn unleashes multiple instances of heavy noncombat damage. The deck accelerates into this engine with efficient mana rocks and protects its setup using premier free interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat. To slow down faster strategies, the deck runs a heavy basic land base of 30 lands that breaks parity on asymmetric lock pieces such as Blood Moon and Back to Basics. Damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Fiery Emancipation quickly scale trigger outputs into lethal territory, while a compact infinite damage loop between Brash Taunter and Blazing Sunsteel provides a definitive game-ending finish.
