Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos spellslinger and burn strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. Kuja generates 0/1 Wizard creature tokens on each end step and transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied once four Wizards are under your control, doubling all damage dealt by Wizards. The deck accelerates in the early turns using efficient mana rocks and rituals like Dark Ritual and Rite of Flame, quickly establishing Kuja alongside synergistic Wizards such as Harmonic Prodigy and Coruscation Mage. Card advantage engines like Necropotence, Necrodominance, and Wheel of Fortune fuel explosive turns. When combined with Storm-Kiln Artist or Electro, Assaulting Battery, casting inexpensive noncreature spells triggers a cascade of amplified burn across all three opponents simultaneously. Supported by targeted redirection and free removal like Deadly Rollick, the deck applies lethal pressure across the table by Turn 5 or Turn 6.
