Format: Commander

Commander: Human Torch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Human Torch is the engine-room beater of a four-color equipment-voltron deck built to cast a noncreature spell before combat so he attacks with flying, double strike, and haste, then pays {R}{G}{W}{U} to splash his combat damage across all opponents. The primary plan accelerates Human Torch with cheap equipment and pumps, with a clean secondary infinite-combat line using Aggravated Assault plus Sword of Feast and Famine or Bear Umbra. Tifa and Raph & Leo provide extra combat steps as backup, while Puresteel Paladin, Sram, and Whirlwind of Thought turn equipment into card advantage. There is no double-faced or hidden commander in the 99; The Fifth Doctor and Adric are value pieces, not a partnership.
