Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant leads a Sultai midrange deck blending Elf and Faerie tribal synergies with spell theft and token swarm strategies. The deck ramps quickly in the opening turns using efficient mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Priest of Titania. Once Maralen enters, every Elf or Faerie entering the battlefield exiles cards from opposing libraries, allowing the deck to cast stolen spells for free up to its creature count. The deck supports this core engine with instant-speed flash creatures, counterspells, and steady card flow from cards like Nymris, Oona's Trickster. It closes games by amassing wide token armies with Elven Ambush and Lathril, Blade of the Elves, buffing the team with Elvish Warmaster or Glorious Sunrise, or assembling the infinite token combo of Intruder Alarm and Presence of Gond. While vulnerable to mass creature removal and color screw, the deck offers strong board presence and adaptable value.
