Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Oloro, Ageless Ascetic commands an Esper control and combo deck built to exploit continuous lifegain triggers while choking opponent resources. From the command zone, Oloro generates passive life each turn, buffering your life total and passively fueling drain triggers without ever needing to enter the battlefield. The primary strategy controls the board with tax pieces, pillowfort enchantments like Sphere of Safety and Nine Lives with Solemnity, and flexible removal. The deck closes games through two-card infinite drain loops combining Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, or Sanguine Bond, or by firing Aetherflux Reservoir.
