Deck overview

This deck is a Jund attrition strategy built around The Reaper, King No More. It leverages -1/-1 counters to shrink opposing threats, trigger wide token generation, and steal dying creatures. By combining counter distributors like Soul Snuffers, Carnifex Demon, and Archfiend of Ifnir with payoffs like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, the deck builds an overwhelming board presence. Lock pieces such as Kulrath Knight prevent opponents' modified creatures from attacking or blocking, while Maha, Its Feathers Night reduces opposing toughness to make full board sweeps effortless. The deck closes games through swarms of tokens, stolen enemy creatures, and life drain from Obelisk Spider and Massacre Wurm. While resilient through high functional redundancy, it relies on natural card flow rather than tutors and remains vulnerable to well-timed sweepers.
