Deck overview

Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur leads a mono-blue combo-control list. The primary plan is to tutor for Leveler and an empty-library outlet, then win with Thassa's Oracle, Laboratory Maniac, or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. A secondary plan uses Panoptic Mirror plus Time Warp/Temporal Manipulation to take infinite extra turns, while Psychosis Crawler and the Mindskinner can convert large draws into damage or mill. Jin is a late-game draw engine and hand-attack piece, but the deck is not dependent on casting him. Baral and Valeria Richards serve as non-commander cost-reduction and draw engines; there is no hidden commander, and the deck's real engine is the tutor-plus-draw package.
