Deck overview

Balan, Wandering Knight is a mono-white Equipment voltron deck that aims to cast its commander early, strap on a pair of large Equipment, and end games with double-striking commander damage. The primary plan uses free-attach engines (Hammer of Nazahn, Sigarda's Aid, Stonehewer Giant) to put Colossus Hammer plus any second Equipment on Balan, creating a 15-power double-striker. A secondary plan attacks through card advantage from Sram, Puresteel Paladin, and Armored Skyhunter; a tertiary plan relies on generic beats from equipment-carriers like Stonehewer or Balan herself. Genji Glove is the only extra-combat card, giving the deck a two-for-one finishing turn. The deck is extremely concentrated on artifacts and vulnerable to artifact wipes.
