Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats control deck. Its primary plan is to force opponents to sacrifice creatures with edicts (Innocent Blood, Plaguecrafter, Soul Shatter) and lock the board with Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos, then drain the table with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance and The Meathook Massacre. Gisa, Glorious Resurrector acts as graveyard hate and theft engine, exiling creatures that would die and returning them decayed on your upkeep for extra attackers and sacrifice fodder. Secondary paths are Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion drains recurred with Phyrexian Reclamation and Reanimate, and value from Sheoldred, Whispering One. Grave Pact is the hidden commander that the deck actually builds around.
