Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul Vehicle stompy strategy led by Balthier and Fran. The primary plan focuses on curving out low-cost Vehicles and ramp pieces on the early turns, casting the commander on Turn 3, and using Balthier's 4 power to crew Vehicles on Turn 4. Because the commander gives Vehicles vigilance and reach in addition to a +1/+1 buff, crewed Vehicles remain untapped after attacking. This allows the deck to pay {1}{R}{G} on attack to take an extra combat phase and attack a second time with the same crewed Vehicle on the same turn. Between Turns 6 and 8, the deck closes the game by attacking with high-impact tramplers like Untethered Express, Vibranium Mining Mech, and Earthrumbler, knocking out opponents in rapid succession across dual combat phases. The list features dense Vehicle redundancy and steady combat output, though it remains vulnerable to targeted commander removal and runs minimal reactive disruption.
