Deck overview

This deck uses Isshin, Two Heavens as One to double attack-triggered token production and combat damage. Its strongest ordinary setup is Isshin, Two Heavens as One followed by Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, producing six tapped attacking Humans on the first attack and a larger board on later attacks. Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, Myrel, Shield of Argive, Hanweir Garrison, Otharri, Suns' Glory, and Endless Foot Assault provide additional token production. Warleader's Call, Impact Tremors, Mishra, Claimed by Gix, Commissar Severina Raine, and Arabella, Abandoned Doll convert that board into damage. The deck also has useful combat protection and a respectable removal package. Its main limits are slow assembly, limited tutor redundancy, dependence on combat, and the absence of a compact win condition. It can create a threatening board around turn 6, but the list does not reliably turn that state into a full table elimination before opponents receive several opportunities to respond.
