Deck overview

Kardur, Doomscourge leads a Rakdos goad deck that redirects opposing combat away from you. The deck combines forced attacks with No Mercy, Vengeful Ancestor, Repercussion, death triggers, and mass-damage effects. Kardur, Doomscourge is easy to access because it is the commander, and a normal draw can cast it around turn 4. That gives the deck an immediate combat operation, but not a reliable critical onset. Goad lasts for a limited period, opponents can use noncombat spells, and the list does not consistently assemble enough damage to finish three players. The strongest ceiling is the Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Sanguine Bond loop, but ordinary access to both five-mana cards is weak. The deck has respectable removal, moderate ramp, and several draw engines, yet its expensive threats and tapped lands slow it down. It is best understood as a political combat-control deck with occasional explosive damage or combo finishes, not as a deterministic competitive combo deck.
