Deck overview

This Grixis deck is an Aristocrats control build commanded by Thraximundar. The game plan revolves around generating continuous sacrifice fodder through creatures like Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, Ophiomancer, and Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, converting those bodies into massive card draw and mana velocity. Asymmetric edict effects such as Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Tergrid, God of Fright systematically strip opposing boards of creatures while feeding death triggers. The deck seeks to win the game through infinite Aristocrats loops, primarily using Pitiless Plunderer or Rooftop Storm alongside Gravecrawler and a sacrifice outlet like Carrion Feeder or Goblin Bombardment to repeatedly drain the table with Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat. Alternatively, Thraximundar provides a potent combat finisher that rapidly grows into a lethal threat while keeping opponent creature counts suppressed.
