Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Boros Equipment Voltron deck led by Lightning, Army of One. It accelerates mana through low-cost artifacts and deploys equipment searchers such as Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, and Cloud, Midgar Mercenary. The core plan focuses on casting Lightning on Turn 3 and equipping her with powerful weapons that leverage her first strike, trample, and lifelink. When Lightning deals combat damage, her Stagger ability doubles all subsequent damage dealt to that opponent until your next turn. The deck magnifies this pressure using damage multipliers like Jeska, Thrice Reborn, Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, and Duelist's Heritage, or closes the game with infinite combat steps through Aggravated Assault paired with Sword of Feast and Famine or The Reaver Cleaver. A robust protection suite including Silence, Grand Abolisher, Teferi's Protection, and Sunforger ensures win attempts remain resilient against opponent interaction.
