Deck overview

This Gruul deck is led by Raggadragga, Goreguts Boss, turning traditional utility mana dorks into formidable attackers and explosive mana engines. By granting all mana-producing creatures +2/+2 and untapping them when they attack, Raggadragga creates a dynamic combat engine where creatures tap for mana pre-combat, swing safely, and untap for post-combat plays or blocking. The deck leverages power-scaling mana producers like Marwyn, the Nurturer, Heronblade Elite, and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, which rapidly generate 5 to 10+ mana. This immense velocity powers out game-ending 7+ mana spells such as Genesis Wave, End-Raze Forerunners, and Apex of Power, each triggering Raggadragga's secondary ability to untap a creature and give it +7/+7 and trample. High-volume burst draw refills the hand, enabling consecutive explosive turns that close out games through overwhelming trample damage.
