Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros Soldier tribal aggressive list commanded by Commander Mustard. The primary game plan develops a wide board of efficient Soldiers and token producers during the opening turns, then transitions into lethal combat steps once the commander provides global haste, trample, vigilance, and attack-triggered direct damage. While the list lacks fast mana and dedicated tutors, it maintains high tribal redundancy with numerous lords and damage amplifiers like Blade Historian and Aurelia, the Warleader. Card velocity relies on select synergy engines like Skullclamp and Mentor of the Meek. The deck protects its battlefield presence with premier defensive instants such as Flawless Maneuver and Boros Charm. It reliably establishes critical board pressure on Turn 6 and finishes games around Turn 8 through wide, evasive combat damage.
