Deck overview

This Azorius deck is led by The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster, combining traditional Equipment Voltron strategies with flicker and enter-the-battlefield synergies. The core plan accelerates into Thor on Turn 3, then attacks on Turn 4 to blink attached or utility Equipment, drawing cards and triggering powerful ETB effects repeatedly. By Turn 5, dedicated tutors like Steelshaper's Gift and Cloud, Midgar Mercenary fetch game-ending armaments such as Excalibur, Sword of Eden and Mjölnir, Storm Hammer. Free-attach enablers including Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, and Hammer of Nazahn bypass heavy equip costs to turn Thor into a lethal flying threat. Backup token factories like Simulacrum Synthesizer and Urza, Lord High Artificer provide wide board presence, while countermagic and hexproof equipment keep the commander safe during multi-turn combat eliminations.
