Deck overview

This is a four-color cascade-value deck helmed by Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder. The primary plan is to connect with Yidris in combat, then chain a hand full of high-mana-value spells - each spell gaining cascade - into an overwhelming board presence of huge creatures and extra spells from exile. Secondary cascade enablers like Maelstrom Wanderer, Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty, and Apex Devastator provide redundancy, while cards like Prosper, Tome-Bound and Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald convert exile-casting into extra mana and tokens. The deck wins through pure combat damage from its amassed beaters, with Nexus of Fate offering an extra turn to close out games. A dense tutor suite and powerful draw engines (Rhystic Study, Sylvan Library, The One Ring) ensure the deck consistently finds its key pieces.
