Undead Unleashed - Precon by user9894903

Format: Commander

Commander: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Dimir zombie-tribal swarm deck built around Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. The primary plan is to generate a wide board of 2/2 Zombie tokens, then close out with lords and drain effects. Wilhelt is the engine: nontoken Zombie deaths create decayed tokens, and sacrificing a Zombie at the end step draws an extra card. Secondary paths include graveyard reanimation and theft with Ghouls' Night Out, Zombie Apocalypse, Gisa and Geralf, and Curse of Unbinding, plus a mill-into-token angle with Undead Alchemist. The deck is resilient to creature wipes and can rebuild, but it is slow and has no combo finish. Its biggest vulnerability is artifact-based graveyard hate, which the deck has almost no way to answer.
