Deck overview

This Commander deck is a WUBR Polymorph strategy piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap noncreature token generators—such as Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Staff of the Storyteller—and using Jace's -3 loyalty ability to transform those expendable tokens into game-dominating creatures and planeswalkers directly from the library. The payoff suite features devastating haymakers including Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, and Darksteel Angel. Dense 2-CMC artifact acceleration consistently enables a Turn 4 Jace deployment and immediate activation. Backup mass-polymorph spells like Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny provide redundant cheat vectors, while efficient white removal and sweepers maintain board parity until massive flying threats close out the game through overwhelming combat damage.
