Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Voltron and enchantment control strategy commanded by Zur the Enchanter. The primary game plan revolves around casting Zur on Turn 3 or 4, untapping, and attacking to tutor powerful enchantments with mana value 3 or less directly onto the battlefield. Zur quickly transforms into a lethal, evasive threat by fetching combat enhancers like Phyresis, Ethereal Armor, and Sheltered by Ghosts, eliminating opponents one by one through commander or infect damage by Turn 8. In parallel, the deck deploys defensive pillowfort pieces and goad auras such as Ghostly Prison, Solemnity, Eriette of the Charmed Apple, and Coercive Impetus to deflect aggression and force opponents into mutual attrition.
