Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages Gisa, the Hellraiser to lead a dedicated Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy. The early game focuses on deploying low-curve Zombies, establishing mana ramp through rocks and doublers like Crypt Ghast, and assembling incremental card engines. Once Gisa enters the battlefield on turn 4 or 5, every crime committed via spot removal, targeted abilities, or graveyard interaction generates two 3/3 menace Zombie Rogue tokens. The mid-game transitions rapidly into a wide combat threat backed by tribal lords such as Death Baron and Undead Warchief, while aristocrat drain engines like Blood Artist, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Mirkwood Bats convert creature turnover into substantial life swings. Late-game burst damage arrives through explosive mana producers like Cabal Stronghold and Ashnod's Altar, fueling decisive finishers including Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Bolas's Citadel, and Zombie Apocalypse. The deck delivers resilient board presence, attrition, and multi-angle pressure across combat and drain.
