Format: Commander

Commander: Gwenom, Remorseless

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gwenom, Remorseless commands a blisteringly fast monoblack combo deck focused on converting life and topdeck access into instant victory. Gwenom acts as a Bolas's Citadel in the command zone, allowing you to cast spells from the top of your library for life while attacking with lifelink to replenish your buffer. The primary win conditions bypass combat entirely: Professor Onyx combines with Chain of Smog for infinite Magecraft life drain, Bolas's Citadel loops with Sensei's Divining Top and Aetherflux Reservoir to vaporize opponents, and Mortuary loops Death Cultist indefinitely. Packed with hyper-efficient tutors and explosive fast mana, the deck rapidly establishes lethal board states.
