Deck overview

This Golgari deck centers on Chatterfang, Squirrel General, leveraging its passive ability to double every token created into additional 1/1 green Squirrel tokens. The primary game plan accelerates early mana through 1- and 2-mana ramp spells, lands Chatterfang on Turn 3, and deploys high-yield token generators such as Deep Forest Hermit, Tendershoot Dryad, and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl on Turn 4. By Turn 5, the wide board amasses overwhelming power while Chatterfang uses disposable Squirrels and {B} to assassinate opposing blockers and commanders. The deck finishes games on Turns 6 to 7 by resolving massive team-pump spells like Craterhoof Behemoth, Overrun, and Overwhelming Stampede, or draining the table with Mirkwood Bats and Valley Rotcaller. An incidental infinite combo between Ivy Lane Denizen and Scurry Oak provides an alternate avenue for infinite power and tokens.
