You and Your Friends, Versus Me and the Revolution. by tuesdaythrowscards

Format: Commander

Commander: Volrath, the Shapestealer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai list uses Volrath, the Shapestealer as a shapeshifting threat that can become an unblockable infect source, while a Maskwood Nexus package turns every creature and creature spell into every creature type, enabling the Wanderwine Prophets extra-turn loop and free casting with Rooftop Storm. The deck also presses a -1/-1 counter synergy shell with Necroskitter, Massacre Girl, Hapatra, and High Perfect Morcant to control boards and recur creatures. Tutors, recursion, and flexible removal give it solid game plans, but the deterministic win depends on assembling the Maskwood + Wanderwine engine, with Volrath/infect as a slower secondary route.
