Deck overview

This competitive Gruul deck accelerates out Etali, Primal Conqueror or compact infinite combos as quickly as Turn 2 or 3. It leverages a dense suite of artifact fast mana and red rituals to bypass high casting costs. The primary win condition pairs Food Chain with Squee, the Immortal or Eternal Scourge to generate infinite creature mana, casting Etali repeatedly from the command zone to exile and cast every nonland spell from all players' libraries. Secondary win lines include Dualcaster Mage with copy sorceries like Twinflame or Molten Duplication to create infinite hasty attackers, as well as Selvala, Heart of the Wilds infinite mana loops. High-efficiency protection like Veil of Summer, Deflecting Swat, and Cavern of Souls defends key windows from countermagic and removal. While vulnerable to Rule of Law effects and heavy stax, the deck recovers rapidly via Underworld Breach and high natural mana generation.
