Deck overview

This Boros midrange deck is commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser, focusing on generating overwhelming board presence and incremental value whenever cards leave the graveyard. The strategy uses rummaging, looting, and self-mill to fill the graveyard with recursive permanents, flashback spells, and exile-based card engines like Squee, Goblin Nabob, Containment Construct, and Conspiracy Theorist. As Quintorius and complementary payoffs trigger, the deck amasses an army of 3/2 Spirit creature tokens. These tokens are converted into a rapid clock through anthem effects such as Warleader's Call, Quintorius, Field Historian, and the commander's −4 ability that grants double strike and vigilance. The deck boasts strong resilience against board wipes due to robust recursion staples like Sun Titan, Serra Paragon, and Sevinne's Reclamation. While it lacks dedicated fast mana and universal tutors, its tight mechanical cohesion and relentless card velocity sustain a formidable mid-game presence that closes games through decisive combat pressure.
