Fire Lord Zuko by maggina

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Zuko

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Fire Lord Zuko leads a Mardu exile-matters and firebending combat deck. You generate value by exiling cards with impulse draw like Prosper, Laelia, and Jeska's Will and casting them for free or reduced cost, which triggers Zuko to put +1/+1 counters on your whole board and enables token makers like Anim Pakal and Pia Nalaar. Firebending from Zuko, Iroh, Firebending Student and Sozin's Comet produces burst red mana on attacks. Isshin doubles those attack triggers to fund Hellkite Charger or Savage Beating for infinite extra combats. Secondary wins come from wide counters with Abzan Falconer flying or large firebending alpha strikes. Appa and Avatar's Wrath act as hidden commanders that airbend your board for cheap recasts.
