Deck overview

This mono-blue deck combines low-cost unblockable creatures with combat-damage draw engines to generate massive card advantage. In the early game, cheap creatures like Slither Blade and Mist-Cloaked Herald attack unhindered, triggering Fblthp, Impossibly Lost, Bident of Thassa, or Coastal Piracy to draw multiple cards each turn. The deck uses this velocity to dig into high-impact draw doublers such as Teferi's Ageless Insight and game-ending payoffs. The primary routes to victory involve emptying the library to win with Laboratory Maniac, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, or Fblthp's built-in win condition, or burning the table simultaneously using Psychosis Crawler alongside wheel effects like Windfall and Tolarian Winds. A solid suite of countermagic and bounce spells, headlined by an overloaded Cyclonic Rift, provides essential defense while the deck sets up its closing turns.
