Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Artifact Aggro and Token Swarm strategy commanded by Mendicant Core, Guidelight. The primary game plan leverages a dense suite of low-cost artifacts, artifact lands, and cost-reducing creatures to rapidly flood the board and advance engine speed through evasive combat damage. By Turn 4, the deck reliably establishes an active value engine supported by token creators like Sai, Master Thopterist and affinity-fueled draw spells like Thoughtcast and Thought Monitor. The critical threat onset occurs on Turn 6, where the deck either animates its noncreature artifacts into a lethal flying armada with Cyberdrive Awakener or deploys asymmetric board wipes like Organic Extinction to swing unimpeded with massive beaters like Master of Etherium and Kappa Cannoneer. Solid protective layers from Padeem, Consul of Innovation and Bronze Guardian shield key permanents, enabling the deck to eliminate all three opponents within two response cycles by Turn 8.
