Black Panther (Selesnya) (Land Counters) by DST13

Format: Commander

Commander: Black Panther, Wakandan King

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Selesnya +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Black Panther, Wakandan King, whose Survey the Realm trigger banks counters on lands and whose Mine Vibranium activation moves them onto creatures for life and card draw. The deck layers a dense counter-doubling package (Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Conclave Mentor, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire) over an "earthbend" subtheme that turns lands into counter-carrying creatures, plus a token engine that feeds the commander's triggers. The primary path to victory is a two-card infinite combo - most cleanly Scurry Oak + Ivy Lane Denizen for infinite squirrels, or Rosie Cotton of South Lane + Animation Module for infinite tokens - with Walking Ballista as an infinite-mana outlet and Triumph of the Hordes as an infect finisher. Combat beats with trample and massive counter piles serve as the backup channel.
