Deck overview

This deck is a five-color artifact midrange strategy commanded by Karn, Gilded Guardian. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap colored artifacts, Borderposts, and artifact lands in the opening turns to maximize color diversity. On turn 4, casting Karn draws three to five cards, refilling the hand and establishing mana and card dominance. The deck then transitions into building wide and tall boards using token generators like Simulacrum Synthesizer, Infinite Guideline Station, and Pinnacle Emissary, while blinking key creatures like Karn and Riptide Gearhulk for compounding card advantage and board control. On turn 6, the deck converts its artifact count into an overwhelming alpha strike via Cyberdrive Awakener or Craterclaw Colossus, dealing massive evasive or trampling damage to eliminate the table across turns 6 and 7. The strategy features efficient removal, resilient mass reanimation with Wake the Past, and strong independence from its commander.
