The Company of Thorin Oakenshield by CMDRGreil

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck that turns Treasure tokens into a combat army. The primary plan is to deploy early Dwarves, use Thorin's enter triggers and Magda's tap triggers to amass Treasures, then kill with a pumped wide team or Dain of the Ancient Halls' attack trigger, which damages all opponents at once. Secondary paths are equipment voltron on a large Dwarf (Embercleave, Sword of Feast and Famine) and token generation from At the Door and Fili. Magda, Brazen Outlaw is the hidden commander, acting as a second treasure engine and artifact tutor. The deck is a midrange combat deck with strong protection but no infinite combos.
