Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos tribal aristocrats and counters strategy commanded by The Great Goblin. The deck focuses on generating Goblin and Orc Army tokens through Amass mechanics and creature abilities, then placing +1/+1 counters on them to repeatedly trigger the commander's direct damage ability. When these creatures die or are sacrificed to outlets like Goblin Bombardment or Warren Soultrader, The Great Goblin provides continuous impulse card advantage, ensuring a steady stream of spells and resources. The deck converts this value into victory by stacking burn damage, draining life totals with Mayhem Devil and Boggart Mischief, and closing out games with aggressive overrun effects such as Assault on Osgiliath and Orcish Siegemaster. While it lacks stack protection and tutors, its dense internal synergy and recursion provide steady pressure and resilience against attrition.
