Deck overview

This deck is a Temur midrange list built around Tyranid tribal synergies, +1/+1 counters, and scalable X-cost spells. Commanded by The Swarmlord, the strategy focuses on accelerating mana during the early turns to cast massive alien creatures. The Ravenous mechanic rewards heavy mana investment by drawing cards whenever an X-spell creature enters with five or more counters. Once assembled, the deck deploys game-ending threats like Old One Eye, Clamavus, and Winged Hive Tyrant to grant trample, flying, and haste to its army. Card advantage engines like The Swarmlord and Inspiring Call ensure that board wipes replenish the pilot's hand rather than ending the game. While the deck lacks fast combo finishes and stack-based countermagic, its high creature quality, scaling threats, and strong card draw make it a resilient beatdown force in casual Commander pods.
