Format: Commander

Commander: The Odd Acorn Gang

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Odd Acorn Gang leads a Golgari Squirrel-tribal deck that wins by chaining token generators into a wide, trampling board. The commander supplies repeatable combat card draw and a sorcery-speed pump/trample outlet, while the deck's Food and forage package converts resources into more Squirrels and card advantage. Secondary plans include Chitterspitter's acorn counter army, Deep Forest Hermit's token burst, and End-Raze Forerunners as an overrun finish. There is no hidden commander; The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and Camellia, the Seedmiser are support legends that accelerate the token plan. Most games aim to resolve a low-cost Squirrel engine, use The Odd Acorn Gang to draw into the two finisher effects, then swing for lethal with trample. Because there is no infinite combo, the deck relies on redundancy and a critical mass of tokens.
