Helmed by Urza, Lord High Artificer, this mono-blue deck is a tightly-woven artifact-combo list with a heavy stax backbone. The primary plan is to deploy Urza early, use his ability to tap artifacts for blue mana as a massive acceleration engine, and then assemble an infinite-mana loop (usually Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal plus two mana-producing artifacts) to win through Walking Ballista or Staff of Domination draw/drain. Secondary lines include bounce loops with Hullbreaker Horror/Tidespout Tyrant + cheap artifacts, and soft-lock pieces such as Winter Orb and Back to Basics that the deck can play through better than most opponents.
