Existence is Pain <3 by AnotherMonster

Format: Commander

Commander: Rakdos, Lord of Riots

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos "Group Slug" deck helmed by Rakdos, Lord of Riots. The primary strategy is to deal incremental noncombat damage to all opponents (via cards like Stormfist Crusader, Descent into Avernus, and Pyrohemia) to enable casting Rakdos for {B}{R} or less. Once Rakdos is in play, the deck leverages his massive cost reduction to cheat out expensive, high-impact Eldrazi and Demons (e.g., Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, It That Betrays). The deck also contains several "damage doubler" effects (Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Fiery Emancipation) to accelerate life loss and enable a secondary combo win with Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond effect (here, Bloodletter of Aclazotz or Wound Reflection).
