Deck overview

This Jeskai deck leverages an impulse-draw engine helmed by Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider to generate continuous card flow, wide token swarms, and scaling burn damage. Early turns focus on mana ramp and deploying low-cost enablers before transforming Gwen into Ghost-Spider by Turn 4. Once transformed, playing lands and casting spells from exile places +1/+1 counters on Ghost-Spider, which are cashed in to exile further cards in a self-sustaining cycle. Key payoffs such as Passionate Archaeologist, Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Keeper of Secrets, and Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival convert each exiled spell into severe life loss and evasive Thopters. The deck protects its board state with flexible interaction like Teferi's Protection and Spectacular Spider-Man, using one-sided sweepers like Delayed Blast Fireball and Cyclonic Rift to clear path for a decisive Turn 8 finish.
