Deck overview

This deck is a focused Rakdos midrange engine helmed by Prosper, Tome-Bound, engineered to leverage impulse draw into explosive mana velocity and life-draining attrition. By casting spells from exile via impulse effects, cascade, and Prosper's own Mystic Arcanum ability, the deck stockpiles massive quantities of Treasure tokens. These tokens are capitalized on through artifact payoffs like Academy Manufactor, Xorn, and Goldspan Dragon, before converting into lethal damage using pingers like Marionette Master, Mayhem Devil, Reckless Fireweaver, and Nadier's Nightblade. Lacking infinite combos or fast-mana staples, the deck plays a deliberate value game, out-resourcing opponents through sheer card flow and asymmetric board wipes like Volcanic Torrent and Blasphemous Act. Its game plan closes out the table around Turn 8 through mass sacrifice bursts, Cut // Ribbons, or alternate win conditions like Revel in Riches.
