Deck overview

This deck is a Bant graveyard-cheat strategy commanded by Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists. The primary game plan revolves around using cheap landcycling, channel, and evoke costs on massive creatures such as Titanoth Rex, Generous Ent, and Nulldrifter during the first three turns. Once these high-mana-value creatures are in the graveyard, Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists is cast and tapped to trigger Discover for large values, cheating game-ending threats like Apex Devastator, Vaultborn Tyrant, and Koma, Cosmos Serpent directly onto the battlefield. Supporting untap engines like Kiora's Follower, Vizier of Tumbling Sands, and Thousand-Year Elixir allow multiple activations in a single turn. Protection pieces such as Grand Abolisher and Dragonlord Dromoka prevent opponents from interacting during combo turns, while haste enablers convert newly cheated behemoths into a rapid two-turn combat clock.
