Deck overview

This is a Dimir Zombie-tribal midrange deck built around using the graveyard as a second hand. Gisa and Geralf mills four on entry and lets you cast one Zombie per turn from the graveyard, turning self-mill and board deaths into repeatable value. The primary path to victory is flooding the board with Zombie tokens via effects like Open the Graves, Liliana's Mastery, and Necrotic Hex, pumping them with lords, and finishing through combat. A secondary drain axis-Diregraf Captain, Vengeful Dead, Vela the Night-Clad, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel-punishes deaths and closes games even through blockers. Mass recursion like Zombie Apocalypse and Grimoire of the Dead provides rebuild power, while Rooftop Storm and Havengul Lich create a high-end engine for recasting Zombies from graveyards.
