ozai rakdos by Veflin76

Format: Commander

Commander: Ozai, the Phoenix King

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ozai, the Phoenix King is a six-mana haste beater and red-mana battery. The primary plan is to attack with firebenders, bank red under Ozai's 'unspent mana becomes red' replacement, then convert the stored mana into either a huge evasive Ozai/Summon: Primal Odin kill or a two-card drain combo (Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Vito/Enduring Tenacity, plus Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond as backup). Avatar Roku, Firebender effectively acts as a hidden second commander, adding six red per attack and giving Ozai a +3 pump outlet. The secondary path is a tutor-assisted life-drain loop that can win without Ozai. Commander dependency is moderate: the drain lines function alone, while the mana-bank burst plan collapses if Ozai is repeatedly removed.
