Deck overview

Bria, Riptide Rogue leads a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger deck that blends traditional storm velocity with explosive prowess combat and noncombat burn. The deck accelerates in the early turns using efficient mana rocks, cost reducers like Stormcatch Mentor and Goblin Electromancer, and cheap cantrips to sculpt a full hand. By Turn 4, it establishes an operational engine with token creators like Third Path Iconoclast and Young Pyromancer or draw engines such as Archmage Emeritus. On Turn 5, the deck pivots into critical onset, leveraging burst mana from Jeska's Will, Mana Geyser, or Storm-Kiln Artist to chain numerous spells. Bria, Riptide Rogue grants prowess across the entire team and makes attacking creatures unblockable, allowing massive combat swings while Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Fiery Inscription burn the rest of the table. Supported by dense 1-mana interaction and backup win conditions like Aetherflux Reservoir, the deck reliably closes out games by Turn 6.
