Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai midrange combat deck built around Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider. It maximizes impulse draw mechanics by exiling cards and casting them to grow Ghost-Spider and trigger modified-creature payoffs. Early turns focus on setting up incremental card advantage through low-cost impulse spells and utility creatures. On Turn 5, the commander transforms into Ghost-Spider, gaining flying, vigilance, and haste to immediately pressure life totals. The deck converts card velocity from exile into board presence, using cards like Kami of Celebration, Araña, Heart of the Spider, and Thundering Raiju to burn the table and build massive evasive threats. While vulnerable to sweepers and lacking instant-speed combo finishes, it sustains momentum through high-density impulse draw engines.
