Deck overview

This deck is a Jund forced-combat control strategy that weaponizes opponent aggression while insulating itself behind rattlesnake deterrents and fog effects. Built around Thantis, the Warweaver, the deck accelerates mana early through efficient dorks and land ramp to establish combat anchors by Turn 5. By forcing all creatures to attack each turn, it turns opposing utility creatures into sacrificial attackers, removes blockers, and sparks table-wide infighting. Pillowfort pieces like Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs, Revenge of Ravens, and Hornet Nest discourage attacks toward you, while Arachnogenesis and Obscuring Haze punish incoming swings. Meanwhile, card draw engines capitalize on creature deaths, and damage multipliers such as Death Kiss and Unnatural Growth rapidly drain opposing life totals. The deck converts table attrition into a decisive combat finish around Turn 8.
