Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue mill/control deck built around Bruvac the Grandiloquent, whose replacement effect doubles every opposing mill. The plan is to land Bruvac early, protect him with a dense counter suite and pillowfort pieces, then resolve a game-ending mass-mill spell. The cleanest kill is Bruvac the Grandiloquent plus a kicked Maddening Cacophony, which mills 100 cards from each library in one spell. Backup lines include Traumatize and Cut Your Losses single-player kills, Fraying Sanity end-step triggers, the Zellix, Sanity Flayer + Altar of the Brood token engine, and The Mindskinner turning unblockable combat damage into huge table-wide mills. The deck plays a patient controlling game: Propaganda, Silent Arbiter, Fog Bank, Soulless Jailer, Defense Grid, and a seven-counterspell shell prevent opponents from interfering while all three libraries disappear.
