Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul lands-matter aggro deck led by Toph, Hardheaded Teacher. The strategy focuses on converting lands into resilient, hasty attackers through the Earthbend mechanic whenever spells—especially Lessons—are cast. Early turns accelerate mana through low-cost ramp spells like Rampant Growth and Kodama's Reach. Once Toph enters the battlefield, chaining Lessons steadily builds a board of scaling land creatures. High-impact mid-game payoffs like Bumi, Unleashed, Solid Ground, and Raggadragga, Goreguts Boss grant trample, stat buffs, and additional combat phases to close the game through overwhelming combat damage. Earthbent lands inherently return to play tapped when killed or exiled, providing remarkable resilience against traditional sweepers and ensuring rapid recovery.
