Deck overview

This deck aims to control the battlefield through forced combat and group slug damage, turning opponents against each other while protecting your own life total. Kardur, Doomscourge forces all opposing creatures to attack players other than you upon entering the battlefield. Re-triggering Kardur with flicker effects like Conjurers Closet or death-and-return spells like Feign Death keeps opponents locked in combat. As opposing boards wear down, you profit from death triggers via Marionette Apprentice, Mirkwood Bats, and Mayhem Devil.
